Eli Polonsky

Eli Polonsky, a Jerusalem native, passed away Aug. 10, 2013, in Englewood. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle,” the family said. “He will be greatly missed.”

Mr. Polonsky was born Sept. 24, 1942, in Jerusalem, Israel, where he attended school and served in the IDF.

He moved to Denver in 1967.

Mr. Polonsky married Diane Ledder Polonsky on July 1, 1973.

In addition to owning auto repair shops, he was an inventor of patented products.

Mr. Polonsky is survived by his wife Diane Polonsky; son Steve (Robin) Polonsky; granddaughters Daniele and Gabriele; and brother Danny Polonsky and family in Israel.
