Elaine Levin

Elaine Levin, a native and lifelong Denverite, passed away March 5, 2019, in Aurora. Rabbis Steven Foster and Joe Black and Cantor Elizabeth Sacks officiated at the March 7 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mrs. Levin was born July 16, 1921, in Denver.

A graduate of East High School, she attended DU for three years.

She married Sam Levin on Oct. 26, 1941. Mr. Levin passed away on Aug. 8, 1979.

Mrs. Levin was co-owner of Michael’s Delicatessen and Pizza.

She belonged to the National Jewish  Health Auxiliary.

Mrs. Levin is survived by her children Michael (Claudia DePrenger) Levin and Diane (Charles) Winger; granddaughter Michelle (Zeth Lietzau) DePrenger-Levin; and great-grandchildren Ella and Odin Lietzau.
