Edythe Sigman, who helped run Broadway Sales in Denver’s Merchandise Mart after moving here in 1972, passed away Dec. 12, 2020, in Baltimore, Md. Services were held Dec. 13 in Baltimore, her home since 2016. Sol Levinson Funeral Home made the arrangements.
Edythe Kates was born May 29, 1919, in Pueblo, Colo., and lived in the same house until she moved to Denver.
She married Robert Sigman, who was sent to Pueblo to recover from injuries sustained in WW II, in 1945.
Mrs. Sigman managed the gift department in Pueblo’s Fashion Bar for many years.
In Denver, she helped run Broadway Sales, a decorator showroom in the Merchandise Mart.
Mr. Sigman passed away in June, 2003.
Mrs. Sigman moved to Baltimore in 2016 to be near her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She taught them how to make jewelry.
Edythe Sigman is survived by her daughter Vicki (Dr. Steve) Krausz; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
