Edward J. Grossman of North Hollywood, Calif., formerly of Denver, passed away June 16, 2013. He was 66.
Rabbi Tzvi Steinberg officiated at the June 18 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Active in several synagogues and organizations, he was described as a generous and selfless man.
Mr. Grossman was born Feb. 8, 1947, in Denver.
An attorney by training, Mr. Grossman was an accomplished musician, composer and music teacher.
He dedicated his life to music and Torah, his two passions.
Mr. Grossman published several compositions for the piano.
He also wrote the book Machashavos Al HaTorah, a collection of Torah novellae.
Mr. Grossman is survived by brother Avraham (Rivka) Grossman; nieces Batya (Ronald) Rosenberg and Adina (Daniel) Krausz and nephews Chaim Zev (Rachel) Grossman, Yonasson (Shulamis) Grossman and Shimon (Tehila) Grossman; and several grandnephews and grandnieces.
