Dr. Sidney Fieman, an ear, nose and throat specialist in Denver for 43 years, passed away Aug. 23, 2010, in Denver.
Rabbis Joe Black and Steven Foster officiated at the Aug. 26 service held at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Dr. Fieman was born Aug. 29, 1916, in Kansas City, Kans., but the family moved to Denver when he was a baby.
A graduate of East High, DU and the CU Medical School, he served in the Army Medical Corps during WW II.
Dr. Fieman married Millicent Schultz on Dec. 15, 1948.
For 43 years, Dr. Fieman was an ear, nose and throat specialist in private practice. He retired at the age of 83.
Professor emeritus at CU, he belonged to the Phi Sigma Delta fraternity and Temple Emanuel.
He also was an avid golfer who loved all sports and enjoyed traveling.
Dr. Fieman is survived by his wife Millicent Fieman; sons Richard (Betsey) Fieman and Robert (Naomi) Fieman; and grandchildren Jonathan, Rachel, Dina, James and David.
