The Intermountain Jewish News is proud of its community partners, Childrens Hospital and the Colorado Rockies, in making the IJN Doris Sky Chanukah Coloring Contest a memorable experience.
For the eighth year, Childrens Hospital Colorado will be the venue for the display of the contests winning entries. Thousands of people pass through the hospitals colorful lobby daily, and many stop to enjoy the childrens artistic interpretations of Chanukah.
The winners in the three grade categories K-1, 2-3 and 4-6 will be honored at an awards ceremony in the hospitals lobby on the fourth day of Chanukah, Thursday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.
We at Childrens Hospital Colorado are so honored and grateful to welcome the young participants and their families to Childrens Hospital Colorado, said Kathleen McBride, director of Childrens Hospital Colorado Assocation of Volunteers.
It is very inspiring for our youth to see the creativity and beautiful work being done by the young artists.
We are appreciative of their commitment to brighten the hospital experience for the patients that we serve.
The awards ceremony will be even more fun with an appearance by the Colorado Rockies mascot Dinger, who along with a Colorado Rockies legend, will help give out the awards.
All contest entries must be in the IJN office by 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23.

Artwork may be done at home or in school. Parents and teachers are urged to encourage their children to enter the contest.
The names of all children who enter the contest will appear in the Dec. 4 Chanukah edition of the IJN, along with the names and entries of the winners.
