Denverite survives Halle synagogue attack

is every Jew’s nightmare, and Denverite Talya Feldman lived it. The daughter of Dr. Steve and Barbara Feldman, and graduate of the Denver School of the Arts, was in Halle, Germany when a neo-Nazi attempted to attack the synagogue there on Yom Kippur. While the synagogue goers were saved from physical harm, Stephan Balliet murdered two innocent people, Jana Lange, 40, who was passing in the street, and Kevin S., 20, who was in a kebab shop that was also targeted. Feldman is a student at Hamburg’s University of Fine Arts (Hochschule für bildene Künste), pursuing a Master’s in Fine Arts.
