Dee Isaacson

Dee IsaacsonDee Isaacson, the donations coordinator at The Denver Hospice, passed away Dec. 11, 2011, in Denver. Rabbi Sara Gilbert officiated at the Dec. 12 graveside service held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Beloved by her family and friends, she graced us with her optimistic approach to life, her compassionate and caring nature, and her unselfish capacity to give,” the family said.

A longtime friend commented that Mrs. Isaacson’s example of living every day and making memories “taught me how to live. Dee Isaacson has blessed many of us, and I for one am very grateful.”

“We will always cherish and remember Dee’s wonderful contributions to our organization,” said her colleagues at The Denver Hospice.

Mrs. Isaacson was born Aug. 3, 1925.

She married Paul E. Isaacson on Nov. 16, 1947. They were together until his passing in September, 2004.

For many years, Mrs. Isaacson worked with her husband in his business.

She began volunteering for The Denver Hospice and was promoted to donation’s coordinator.

Mrs. Isaacson is survived by her daughters Sandra (Jeffrey) Barter and Terri (Stacy Pocrass) Tilliss; grandchildren Emily and Zachary Barter and Jennifer and Jonathan Tilliss; sisters Norma Goldblatt and Judy (Stanley) Kippur, and brother Ira (Penni Hudis) Fink.

Contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Assn. of the Rockies or the hospice organization of choice.
