Colorado Springs Police Chief Carey attends ADL seminar in Israel

Springs Police Chief Pete Carey recently returned to the US after taking part in the ADL’s annual national counter-terrorism seminar in Israel. Twelve high-ranking American law enforcement officials spent a week touring as guests of the Israel Police in an effort to learn from Israel’s experience with counter-terrorism and law enforcement. “I was astounded to learn how the Israeli security teams safeguard the Western Wall,” he remarked. “It’s extremely difficult because there are thousands of visitors each day. The Israeli security forces do a remarkable job to ensure this holy site is safe.” This was the ADL’s 12th such seminar.
