Clara Gertz, a longtime resident of Denver and waitress at the Bagel Deli, passed away Nov. 1, 2009, in Denver. Rabbi Bruce Dollin and Cantor Martin Goldstein officiated at the Nov. 3 service held at the HEA. Interment followed at Golden Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Gertz was born April 1, 1929, in Mineola, NY. She came to Denver at a young age and graduated from North High.
She married Ben Gertz on Sept. 7, 1947. Mr. Gertz passed away on Feb. 11, 1993.
Mrs. Gertz is survived by three children, Lynne (Bruce Anderson) Gertz of Denver, David (Bonnie) Gertz of Denver and Cindy Gertz of Washington, DC; and grandchildren Eli Anderson, Jason Anderson, Joshua Gertz and Evalee Gertz.
