This years crop of entries was particular interesting, with young artists using crayon, markers, water colors, tempera paints, fabrics, metallic materials, beads, and many more inventive media to create their impressions of Chanukah.
Entries came from many Colorado cities Denver, Aurora, Boulder, Niwot, Longmont, Centennial, Englewood, Evergreen, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Parker, Lakewood, Westminster and as far away as Israel!
The winning entries published in the December 11 edition of the IJN will be on display at Childrens Hospital, Friday, Dec. 11-Monday, Dec. 28.
Winners will be honored at a ceremony at Childrens Hospital at 4 pm on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2008.
