Carolyn Tepper Sunshine Simon, a lifelong Denverite, passed away March 17, 2010, in Denver. Rabbi Richard Rheins officiated at the service, held March 19 at Temple Sinai. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Carolyn was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she will be missed, the family said.
Carolyn Tepper was born Nov. 24, 1925, in Denver. A second-generation Denverite, she graduated East High.
She married Robert Sunshine on Jan. 1, 1943. Mr. Sunshine passed away July 27, 1984.
She married Mike Simon on May 11, 1980. Mr. Simon died Sept. 11, 2008.
Mrs. Simon is survived by her children Cathy (Jim Wilson) Sunshine of Denver, Linda (Dr. Reid) Goodman of Denver, Diana (Michael) Kaplan of Denver and Peggy (Jack Kornblau) Lane of Alameda, Calif.; sister Leona (Gerald) Harris of Denver; grandchildren Abby Kamensky, Matthew (Marnie) Kamensky, Daniel (Elli) Goodman, Joshua (Danya) Goodman, Jamie Goodman, Phillip Kaplan, Benjamin Kaplan, Robyn Kaplan, Stacy Kaplan, Jeremy Lane, Amanda Lane and Sean Lane; and four great-grandchildren.
