Carol Leder

Denver native Carol Leder passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 98. A service was held on January 31 at Mount Nebo Memorial Park, officiated by Rabbi Avraham Mintz. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mrs. Leder, born on September 4, 1925, attended East High School, and then graduated from Stanford University. After college and after Dr. Max Leder returned from military service in Okinawa, they married in Denver in 1947. They lived in Hilltop and remained a couple until Dr. Leder passed away in July, 2011.

Dr. and Mrs. Leder traveled extensively in Europe and Asia. In addition to traveling, Mrs. Leder enjoyed playing bridge, golf, swimming and tennis.

“Carol was a talented seamstress who designed and sewed beautiful dresses, jackets and sweaters that delighted everyone who saw them,” her family said.

Survivors are children, Dr. Eric Leder, Charles (Pam) Leder and Dr. Robert Leder; and grandchildren Molly (David) Hepkin, Kevin (Jasmine Foo) Leder, Melissa (Shane Leder-Dutt) Leder, Allison (Anthony) Bejarno, Megan (David Torfin) Leder, Stephanie Leder and Leanna (Michael) Zimmer.

Contributions may be made to the Denver Botanical Gardens or the National Brain Tumor Society.
