Bumpy ride

This week’s primary election reinforced the notion that there’s no such thing as “politics as usual.”

For governor, we have an unknown catpulted to candicacy due to his primary opponent’s foibles versus a popular big city mayor trying to appeal to the entire state versus a third party candidate who believes he can beat both.

For the Senate, we have an unelected incumbent versus a district attorney, also a virtual unknown until recently.

Colorado is neither solidly Democrat nor solidly Republican; anything can happen, regardless of national trends. Stay tuned and buckle your seat belts. It might be a bumpy ride!
