Bruce Wasko, a native Denverite, passed away April 20, 2014, in Steamboat Springs. He was 63. The family held a private service.
Mr. Wasko was born on March 23, 1951, in Denver to the late Irving and Jennie Wasko. He attended George Washington High.
At age 22, he volunteered to join the IDF but instead lived on a kibbutz in Israel.
President of Amcap Properties in Steamboat Springs, Mr. Wasko enjoyed a long career in commercial real estate.
A dog lover, he owned several canine pets. His last dog, Homer, was a 90 lb. boxer.
Mr. Wasko worked out on a daily basis, either swimming, running, or rowing at home. His greatest joy was walking in Fish Creek Falls.
He also loved sharing a good meal with a friend.
Mr. Wasko is survived by his sons Matthew (Jessica) Wasko of Chicago and Dustin Wasko, also of Chicago.
