How did you break your chametz fast?

Chametz is a funny thing. Prior to Passover, we can’t imagine life without it. After eight days, some of us can’t imagine life with it. Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but we do become accustomed — somewhat — to the new reality. That doesn’t stop us from dreaming about that chametz moment — that first bite of a bagel, slice of toast, piece of pizza —it’s different for everybody. Then there’s that unique class of person — the type that becomes so accustomed to going chametz-free, that come sundown on the eighth day, they don’t even crave it. They’re still happily munching matzah and eating macaroons while the rest of are indulging a yeasty doughnut. Some of them don’t even have that bite of chametz until Friday night and its attendant challah comes around.

So, what is your go-to chametz food? What do you crave during the holiday, and what’s your traditional first post-Passover treat? Or are you one of those who continues to abstain? Vote in our poll below, and share your chametz moments in a comment.
