Boulder police officer joins police unity tour to Israel

Policewoman Jenny Paddock, 54, has just returned from the 10-day Police Unity Tour in Israel. Mildly jet lagged, her enthusiasm jolts you like a thick cup of Israeli coffee. Paddock, who also went on the inaugural trip last year, joined 51 US officers to train with Israeli police and ride for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. The ride has raised $23 million for the memorial since its inception in Florham Park, NJ, in 1997, when 18 officers biked to the nation’s capitol to honor their slain comrades.
