Boruch Zeyger, president of the Denver Russian Center from 1994-2012, passed away March 11, 2012, in Denver. Rabbi Aharon Sirota officiated at the March 12 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Shalom Funeral Service made the arrangements.
Mr. Zeyger was born April 22, 1930, in Ukraine.
He married Rukhlya Kushner on May 1, 1950. They were together for nearly 62 years.
Executive director of textile manufacturing in Russia from 1970-1993, Mr. Zeyger was an honorary citizen of Gertsa-Ukraine.
He moved to Denver in 1994 and became president of the Russian Center here.
Mr. Zeyger is survived by his wife Rukhlya Kushner; daughter Linda (Vladimir) Ostritsky; grandsons Alexander and Eugene Ostritsky; granddaughters-in-law Leila and Nadya Ostritsky; and great-grandsons Simon and Jake Ostritsky.
