Bertha “Bootsie” Levine Daher, also known as “GG” and recently of Highlands Ranch, passed away on Dec. 29, 2020. Burial services were held at Mt. Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills, Calif. Feldman Mortuary made the local arrangements.

“Hers was a very full life,” her family said. “She survived 14 primary cancers. Surgeries, cobalt, chemo, radiation — she had them all, more than once. But she always kept her spirits up.

“She was independent. No fear, no filter; outspoken and unabashed. No one was going to tell her what to do or when she could do it. Whatever it may be.”

Mrs. Daher lived in California until she moved to Colorado 10 years ago to be closer to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

“Rest in peace, Mom,” her children said. “You were, and are, a blessing.”

Bootsie Daher is survived by her daughter Frances Barron and sons David Daher and Frank Daher; grandchildren Paul (Edward) Daher, Alisha (Carlos) Daher, Jaclyn (Matt) Lauer, Charlene (Steven) Tourison, Jill (Erika) Twersky, Kelli Daher, Alison Daher and Mira Daher; and great-grandchildren William Barron, Brianna Lauer, Kara Lauer, Elias and Beatrice Twersky.
