Bernard Eisenstat

Bernard “Bernie” Eisenstat, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away July 30, 2018, in Denver.

Rabbi Steven Foster and Cantor Elizabeth Sacks officiated at the Aug. 1 service at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Bernie was a kind and compassionate person, with great integrity,” the family said.

“He was known for his great love of life, his family and friends.”

Mr. Eisenstat was born March 25, 1932, in Denver.

He graduated East High School and earned a BA in business at CU.

Mr. Eisenstat served in the US Army from 1953 to 1954.

He married Fradell “Freddie” Eisenstat on Nov. 12, 1955.

Mr. Eisenstat was an independent insurance agent, a real broker and developer.

A former member of the Temple Emanuel board, he also was a Mason.

Mr. Eisenstat is survived by his wife Fradell “Freddie” Eisenstat; daughter Michelle (Ron) Catalan and son Gary (Stefani) Eisenstat; granddaughters Lauren Eisenstat and Kara Eisenstat; and siblings Jere Eisenstat and Debbi Schuver.
