Benjamin Pitler, 99, a native Denverite, passed away March 8, 2011, in Denver. Rabbi Yaakov Meyer officiated at the March 9 graveside service held at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Pitler was born Nov. 21, 1911, in Denver and grew up in Colorado Springs, where he was a member of Palmer High Schools first graduating class.
He married Agnes Toole on January 2, 1938. Mrs. Pitler passed away on April 9, 2005,
Mr. Pitler had a long and successful business career.
He is survived by his children Bob (Rhoda Reiss) Pitler, Barbara (Jon) Zall and Bette (the late Mike) Cooper; grandchildren Cami Cooper, Marc Cooper, Kim Hyland, Edie Jenson, Howard Zall, Brian Zall and Shana Pitler; and 20 great-granchildren.
