Isadore Bernard “Barry” Kaufman of Greenwood Village passed away Oct. 13, 2017, in Denver. Rabbi Yaakov Meyer officiated at the Oct. 22 service at Aish Denver. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mr. Kaufman was born in 1927 in Worcester, Mass., to Mary Hurvitz and Morris Kaufman.

He proudly served as an army medic during WW II and received an honorable discharge at Fort Dix, NJ.

Mr. Kaufman married Haya Kaufman on May 29, 1968, in New York.

He worked in the jewelry business for more than 60 years.

Mr. Kaufman was a man of many talents and interests.

An avid reader of New York’s The Jewish Press, he spoke fluent Yiddish and appeared in two movies, “Easy to Love” with Esther Williams and “On an Island with You” starring Ricardo Montalban.

But the roles he cherished most were being a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

“Barry’s integrity, values and good name will remain a blessing for all who knew and loved him,” the family said.

Mr. Kaufman is survived by his beloved wife Haya Kaufman of Greenwood Village; children Jarrod (Rachel) Kaufman and Steffen (Lisa) Kaufman; and grandchildren Victoria, Hannah, Alexandra and Julia Kaufman.
