Buddy Dunevitz
Barry “Buddy” Dunevitz, a native Denverite, passed away Nov. 7, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nev. “Buddy died peacefully at home after a long illness,” the family said. “His wife Barbara was by his side when he died.”
Mr. Dunevitz was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Denver.
He graduated North High School in 1949 and attended DU for two years.
Mr. Dunevitz served in the US Navy during the Korean War, 1951-1955.
He married Barbara Sunshine Dunevitz on Nov. 15, 1959. They were together 58 years.
The couple lived in Denver, Oakland, Calif., and Las Vegas.
Mr. Dunevitz is survived by his wife Barbara Dunevitz of Las Vegas; children Marla (Steve) Roper of Lone Tree and Brad Dunevitz of Highlands Ranch; and grandchildren Megan and Amanda Roper and Max and Sydney Dunevitz.
