Barbara Landow

Barbara “Bobbie” Milstein Landow, a proud native of Denver’s West Side, passed away on June 12, 2020. She was 77. Rabbi Bruce Dollin officiated at the private graveside service June 15 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mrs. Landow was born July 27, 1942, to Margaret and Eli Milstein and grew up in a multi-generational household that included her four siblings and her grandmother.

“She had the classic Westside upbringing, including attending religious school at the Alliance and having a carp in the bathtub before the holidays,” her loved ones said.

She married Sol Landow in 1964. Mr. Landow passed away in 2013. She was predeceased by siblings Martin Milstein and Sherrie Porter.

Mrs. Landow was a buyer for the Denver Dry Goods Co. before choosing to stay home with her children.

When they grew older, she went to work for State Farm Insurance, where she worked for 20 years.

Barbara “Bobbie” Landow is survived by her sisters Shirley Londer and Arlene Aron; her children Cari (Andy) Friedman and Todd (Roni) Landow; grandchildren Ryan Friedman and Spencer and Chloe Landow; and numerous nieces and nephews.
