Bad fires, good people

we’ve all been watching in horror as the fires spread across Israel, we’ve also been grateful. Especially our community, touched so personally by the loss of former rabbi and teacher in Denver, Uriel Malka, may his memory be blessed, in the tragic Carmel Chanukah fire in 2010. This time, we’re grateful no life has been taken. Yet, we still watched in helplessness as people lost their homes, as an artist’s life’s work of 40 years went up in flames, as people escaped for their lives.
