
She was a warm and caring person to all that knew her, the family said. She collected lifelong friendships with as much passion as others collect art or other valued treasures.
Mrs. Galemba was born in 1932 in Omaha, Neb., to Morris and Lena Nachman.
She was a graduate of Omaha Central High School. In later years, she pursued professional education in tax preparation, real estate and property management.
Mrs. Galemba and her late husband, Donald Galemba, whom she married in 1951, were founding members of Temple Sinai and supported the congregation throughout their lives.
She was an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society, which honored her with two volunteer service awards. Mrs. Galemba volunteered at the societys Discovery Shop, an upscale resale store that sold previously owned items to raise funds to fight cancer.
Mrs. Galemba previously served as senior property manager for Galemba Property Management, a family-owned firm. She received her Colorado real estate brokers license in 1987.
She is survived by son Ed (Anita) Galemba and daughter Jan (Bill) Saetveit; grandsons Dan (Dr. Rebecca) Galemba, Dave (Jamie) Galemba and Andy Saetveit; and brothers Dr. Ben (Elaine) Nachman and Dr. Al (Doris) Nachman.
