Arnold Arnie Shindelman of Denver, formerly of Hartford, Conn., and Warwick, NY, passed away at his home on Nov. 8, 2013. He was 72.
Rabbi Joshua Rose officiated at the Nov. 13 graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder. Greenwood & Myers Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Shindelman was born June 26, 1941, in Manhattan to Paul and Evelyn Shindelman.
He earned a BA in business administration from the City University of New York Bernard M. Baruch College and an associate degree in applied science from New Yorks City Community College.
Mr. Shindelman had a 30-year career with Equifax Services. After 25 years, he received the 25 Year Quarter Century Award.
A veteran of the US Air Force, he volunteered for the youth group and advisor at Temple Beth Shalom in Florida, NY, and at Temple Beth Jacob in Newburgh, Conn.
Mr. Shindelman is survived by his daughter Ellen Kowitt of Erie, Colo., and son Mark Shindelman of Arlington, Va.; brothers Alvin Shindelman of Lompos, Calif., and Dan Rosen of St. Louis, Mo.; and grandchildren Cameron Kowitt and Samantha Kowitt.
