Anti-Semitism: Denver non-Jewish spiritual leaders speak out

first wave of bomb threats hitting Jewish community centers across the US made headlines on Jan. 9, 2017. The next three swelled in quick succession. The fifth wave, which encompassed JCCs, Jewish day schools and the ADL office in San Francisco, struck Feb. 27. In the disquieting interim, two Jewish cemeteries were desecrated: Chesed Chel Emeth in St. Louis (Feb. 20) and Mount Carmel in Philadelphia (Feb. 26). The sixth wave crashed Tuesday, March 7 [see story, left]. A St. Louis man was arrested for allegedly threatening eight JCCs in retaliation over an unhappy personal relationship.
