Funeral services for Andrew Miles Harris, a longtime Colorado resident, took place Oct. 9, 2015 at Golden Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Avraham Mintz officiated at services for Mr. Harris who passed away Oct. 8. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
A native of Reno, Nev., Mr. Harris was born Jan. 10, 1947 and spent his early years in Miami. He graduated from Miami Coral Park High School in 1965 and later moved to Aurora, Colo. where he worked as a carpenter, cook and bus driver for Veolia Transportation.
He married Rena Harris on Sept. 6, 1971 and later Stephanie Gordhamer on Sept. 19, 2014.
His family described Mr. Harris as a loving father, husband and grandfather who enjoyed life and loved to laugh.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie Gordhamer of Aurora; daughter Marnina Kregas (John Kregas) of Greenwood Village; son Cody Harris (Rebecca Harris) of Mill Valley, Calif.; and grandchildren Cameron Kregas, Alexander Kregas, Branden Kregas, Delaney Kregas, all of Greenwood Village, and Emmett Harris and Levi Harris of Mill Valley, Calif.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Childrens Hospital.
