America first

A few IJN readers raised some questions last week on our “Readers Speak” page. Did odd things happen during the Nov. 3 election? Were there unusual patterns?

These are points worth discussing. To ignore them does not serve our election process. The cornerstone of any functioning democracy is the integrity of its elections and the peaceful transition of power. As Americans, we need to trust our election process; otherwise the system will break down.

But there are two salient points:Is there strong evidence of misconduct? And, if it is proved that fraud took place, would it affect the outcome of the election?

To the first:any valid suspicions of fraud should be investigated and, if found, remediated. To date, the courts, including the Supreme Court, do not believe such evidence exists.

It wouldn’t be a shock that in a year when so many states turned to mail-in voting at the last minute, there would be glitches.

To me, that’s different from fraud, which implies malfeasance. That’s a strong accusation and must be backed up by solid proof.

To the second point: Even if glitches or fraud did occur, if they would not change the election’s outcome, then concession cannot be withheld and the election cannot be contested. That doesn’t mean the process shouldn’t be investigated and improved where necessary. But it does mean that the conversation should move past “Stop the Steal.”

I keep thinking back to a book I recently read, 1969, by Rob Kirkpatrick. While the book is an exploration of the year, it opens in the year that started the decade off: 1960. I was shocked when the author matter-of-factly stated that the 1960 election was stolen. I knew it was a close race, but I never knew about Texas and Chicago, about Johnson and Daley’s election interference to secure Kennedy the presidency.

Why did Nixon concede? Here was a pretty cut-and-dried case for contesting an election. How ironic is it that Nixon, perhaps the most divisive US president ever, and despite seriously considering contesting the election, realized that ultimately it would be the country that would suffer. He put America first. Trump, who always says “America first,” and his supporters should do the same.

Shana, there ARE proven FACTS about this seriously defective election! Have you not seen the video of the polling office which changed the votes in the middle of the night- suitcases hidden underneath tables. These ballots were counted when the voting process was stopped and all poll observers were gone using the false premise of a broken water pipe that never existed. When you see the exact numbers Biden and Trump had when balloting supposedly stopped, until 6 AM the next morning, it is quite obvious!

Also, no response to why the Trump hating Dominion Executive Eric Coomer updated all the voting machines in Georgia. After Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Gablemn had ruled that Wisconsin Stature 6.86 ruled that if an absentee ballot does not have a witness or address on it, it is not valid. Michigan also has 225,235 “ghost voters,” which are registrations over the number of eligible voters. These changes were made in signature verification, election deadlines, citizenship, and other areas that have been shown to lead to massive fraud. Why do you think these states and others don’t want VOTER ID!

There has been no reason given of why ballots were being sent to Pennsylvania from New York or what happened to these ballots. Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, & Georgia all had this “glitch” as they now call it. 138,339 unchecked, unverified ballots in Mich. and Wisconsin In Mich alone, about an 800,000 vote lead for Trump, disappears overnight In Detroit, doors locked and boarded up windows with no republicans there- video shown of this.

In Arizona, the GOP chairman testified in an affidavit before the Az State Legislature that she observed Trump’s votes being tallied as votes for Biden through the Dominion machines while being inputted. After she questioned the process, she was later threatened by election supervisors Others at the same voting site have observed the same in many cases. Also observed was truckloads of ballots coming in up to ten days after the election. Signature matches were also not utilized in Arizona elections.

Ballots were also backdated, with ballots from Trump being marked “Undeliverable.” This was a process that infected the voting in Michigan as well as Erie, Penn. This was widespread illegality on the part of the unionized Postal Service, which backed Joe Biden before the election. In Wisconsin, USPS contractor Nathan Pease was discussing with two postal workers that the USPS in Wisc were gathering over 100,00 ballots on November 4th so that they could be backdated and counted.

Signatures were not verified, and no envelopes were found. It is now a proven fact that 288,783 ballots have the same date for application sent and received for the tally. Elderly ballots were not scrutinized, including one for a voter who was 170 years old.
    Hypocracy! Fraud!
