Alan Silverman, founder of Living Legends Association, a national trade organization in the resort and tourist industry, passed away on July 15, 2009 in Denver.
Rabbi Yaakov Meyer officiated at the July 17 service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Silverman was born March 19, 1935, in Brooklyn, NY.
He attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn and graduated magna cum laude from the City College of New York.
He married Lenora Aronson on Oct. 30, 1955.
Mr. Silverman also belonged to Columbine Lodge, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
His customers never let him retire, the family says.
Mr. Silverman is survived by his wife Lenora Aronson; his children Michael Silverman, Neil (Vicki Kraus) Silverman, Karen (Bill Goldberg) Silverman; and brother Robert (Selena) Silverman.
