Real estate broker and investor Alan Fox died Dec. 20, 2021. He was 89. A service was held Dec. 26 at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Fox was born in 1932 in Hammond, Ind. He attended CU and graduated in 1954. He then served 10 years in the US Navy, where he was a flight control operator at Boca Chica Naval Air Station in Florida, then later in the US Naval Air Reserve.
In 1962, Mr. Fox married Katie Tweedle of Hammond; they moved to Denver that year and were married 59 years.
Mr. Fox founded A.F. Fox Realty and Investment Company, specializing in commercial real estate. He was also a Jefferson County Planning Commissioner for 19 years. He was an avid pilot, skier and fisherman.
Mr. Fox is survived by his wife Katie; children Jack (Nathalie) Fox, Susan Fox (Ted) Pinkowitz, Karen Fox (Ian) Wolfe; and seven grandchildren.
