Set up last year to help victims of the Waldo Canyon fire and other wildfires in Colorado, the Allied Jewish Federations Colorado Fire Relief Fund is still functioning and still raising funds for wildfire victims.
The office of Doug Seserman, AJF president-CEO, told the Intermountain Jewish News this week that the fund has raised $15,732 to date, with donations coming both from local supporters and out-of-state donors concerned about Colorado fire victims.
At this time, the cost of the devastation is inestimable but resources are stretched thin especially after last years devastating fires, federation president-CEO Doug Seserman said in a recent statement citing the devastation from this summers wildfires in the Black Forest, Canon City and other areas.

All of the funds donated to the Colorado Fire Relief Fund will go directly to support the efforts to combat the fires and help victims, with no administrative fees taken, according to the federations website.
