Sylvia Milzer

Sylvia Milzer, a Denverite for 58 years, passed away March 4, 2017, in Denver. Rabbi Rick Rheins and Cantor Sheila Nesis officiated at the March 7 service in the Abrahams Family Chapel at Temple Sinai. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“A beautiful wife and mother who was impeccably dressed, she cherished her family and made a remarkable home for all of us,” her loved ones said.

Mrs. Milzer was born March 24, 1927, in San Francisco, Calif.

She attended North High School.

Sylvia Sampson married Sidney Milzer on June 16, 1946.

A homemaker and stay-at-home professional mom, she belonged to the Westside Arrows Group and Hadassah.

Mrs. Milzer is survived by her husband Sidney Milzer of Denver; children Karen (Alan) Stein and Ron (Bonnie) Milzer of Denver; grandchildren Kim (Jordon) Laycob, Tammy (Ryan) Seeb, Lisa (Russell) Thomas, all of Denver, and Robyn (Meir) Winkelstein of New York; and great-grandchildren Tanner and Connor Laycob and Samantha and Jack Thomas.

Mrs. Milzer was predeceased by her son Dr. Gary Milzer on Oct. 8, 2016.
