Sandra Frankel

Sandra “Sandy” M. Frankel of Denver, formerly of Newton, Mass., and Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Oct. 2, 2016, from complications from Parkinson’s Disease. She was 69.

Services were held Oct. 9 in the Schlossberg-Solomon Memorial Chapel in Canton, Mass. Interment followed at Sharon Memorial Park. Schlossberg-Memorial made the arrangements.

An elementary school teacher for 39 years, she retired due to her illness.

She married Alan S. Frankel, formerly of Milton, Mass., 46 years ago. They had been friends since the seventh grade.

Mrs. Frankel is survived by her husband Alan Frankel; children Paul H. Frankel of San Francisco, Calif., and Emily M. Hayden of Cleveland, Ohio; parents Paul Blank of Brooklyn, NY, and Louise Roseman of Framingham, Mass.; grandchildren Genevieve Hayden and Max Hayden; and brother Howard (Nancy) Blank of Framingham.
