This year’s crop of entries was particular interesting, with young artists using crayon, markers, water colors, tempera paints, fabrics, metallic materials, beads, and many more inventive media to create their impressions of Chanukah.
Entries came from many Colorado cities — Denver, Aurora, Boulder, Niwot, Longmont, Centennial, Englewood, Evergreen, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Parker, Lakewood, Westminster — and as far away as Israel!
The winning entries published in the December 11 edition of the IJN will be on display at Children’s Hospital, Friday, Dec. 11-Monday, Dec. 28.
Winners will be honored at a ceremony at Children’s Hospital at 4 pm on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2008.
