Community solidarity gathering

A community solidarity gathering will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Robert E. Loup JCC Elaine Wolf Theater.

The gathering is being held a show of support for and solidarity with the Kansas City Jewish community following the tragic shootings at the Jewish Community Campus there earlier this week.

There will also be a security briefing presented by the Denver JCC.

The gathering is being held JEWISHcolorado and the Jewish Community Relations Council in collaboration with the Anti-Defamation League, The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (CELL), Rocky Mountain Rabbinical Council and the Denver JCC.

Speakers include representatives from the FBI & Dept. of Home Land Security as well as community leadership:

Rabbi Bruce Dollin, President of RMRC and Senior Rabbi, HEA

Thomas Ravenelle, Special Agent in Charge, FBI

Tim Grenis, Intelligence Officer, Colorado Information Analysis Center, U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Joe O’Keefe, Protective Security Advisor, U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Scott Levin, Regional Director Mountain States Region, ADL

Melanie Pearlman, Executive Director, The CELL

Caron Blanke, Assistant Executive Director, Loup JCC

Doug Seserman, president and CEO, JEWISHcolorado, will moderate.

There is no cost to attend. Family and friends are welcome.
