‘Helping the blind see differently’

ROSH HASHANAH EDITION 5777 SECTION A is a reference in the Talmud to a person without sight as a sagi nahor, one “of abundant light.” Among the varying interpretations of its meaning is the idea that although the eyes of the blind do not “see,” the blind person sees a great deal that is invisible to the rest of us.
