SUNDAY, JUNE 5, was a hot, sunny day — perfect for a poolside concert at the JCC. As some children and parents frolicked in the cooling waters, others relaxed under the shade, taking in the upbeat sounds of singer-songwriter Elana Jagoda. The poolside concert, sponsored by PJ Library, was a collaborative effort of JCC, JEWISHcolorado and other metro area organizations, and was coordinated by Bethany Friedlander, education director at Temple Micah. It was the Bay Area artist’s first ever concert in Denver — indeed her first ever visit to the Mile High City.
