Documentary ‘The Last Gold’ tells the story of swimming and doping

film “The Last Gold,” which premiered at the 2016 Los Angeles Film Festival in June, “tells a story which is important to the history of swimming and to the women who were affected,” said Mike Unger, assistant executive director of USA Swimming and co-producer of the film. “The Last Gold” was one of a dozen documentaries out of 4,000 films selected for the festival. Fifteen-time Emmy Award winner Brian T. Brown is the film’s director, writer and primary interviewer. Chuck Wielgus, executive director of USA Swimming, is the other co-producer.
