Boulder JCC bomb threat

Boulder JCC, which evacuated everyone in the building following a bomb threat Tuesday morning, Jan. 31, received the all-clear at 12:15 p.m. that afternoon. The Boulder Police Department issued the all-clear after bomb-sniffing dogs performed an intensive sweep of the premises and found nothing suspicious. Boulder’s new JCC campus, completed in 2016, is located at 6007 Oreg Ave. The JCC’s front desk receptionist answered the threatening call at 9:30 a.m. “We were contacted at 9:32 a.m.,” Boulder Police Dept. public information officer Shannon Cordingly told the Intermountain Jewish News Tuesday. “The Boulder JCC did a great job of evacuating people and sending alerts to parents,” Cordingly said.
